HOPKINS COUNTY FISCAL COURT, REGULAR MEETING, GOVERNMENT CENTER, June 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m

The Regular Meeting of the Hopkins County Fiscal Court was held at Hopkins County Government Center and was called to order by Hopkins County Judge Executive, Donald E. Carroll.   Invocation was given by Bill Thomas.    Roll call was taken and a quorum was established with all Magistrates being present.   

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:  June 5, 2012 minutes - Motion by Magistrate Beshears and seconded by Magistrate Maurice Wilson to approve the June 5, 2012 minutes.  Motion carried.   

REPORT OF COUNTY ATTORNEY:  Assistant County Attorney Lee Riddle was present in Todd P’Pools’ absence.

REPORT OF COUNTY CLERK:   Nothing to report.

REPORT OF SHERIFF:  Surplus of Vehicles – 2009 Dodge Charger and 2008 Dodge Charger Motion to approve the surplus of vehicles.  Motion to approve the surplus of vehicles by Magistrate Welch and seconded by Magistrate Beshears.  Motion carried.

REPORT OF JAILER:  Nothing to report.

REPORT OF TREASURER:  A) Transfers – Motion to approve Transfers by Magistrate Larry Wilson and seconded by Magistrate Groves.  Motion carried.

B) Payment of Claims - General Fund in the amount of $66655.14 Road Fund $368392.87; Jail Fund $386764.57; LGEA $832578.39; Total $1654390.97.  Motion to approve Payment of Claims by Magistrate Welch and seconded by Magistrate Larry Wilson.   Motion carried.

C) Treasurer’s Report – Motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report by Magistrate Toney and seconded by Magistrate Groves.  Motion carried.

D) Annual Standing Order – Motion to approve the Annual Standing Order by Magistrate Beshears and seconded by Magistrate Welch.  Motion carried.

E) Second Reading of Ordinance 2012-06 – 2012-2013 Budget - Motion to approve by Magistrate Larry Wilson and seconded by Magistrate Welch .
