PACS/Hopkins County Assistance Center

The PACS/Hopkins County Assistance Center works in conjunction with all other agencies for the betterment of our County.  

All applicants must meet Kentucky State Poverty Guidelines and be residents of Hopkins County. 

The Assistance Center provides clothing, furniture and household items to individuals who meet the guidelines of the center.

The Assistance Center will assist qualified applicants prepare applications for social security, SSI, SSD, K-Tap, K-Chip, Food Stamps and placement of individuals into housing. 

The Assistance Center accepts all donations and will provide tax deductible statements. 

If you know of any child in Hopkins County that does not have proper shoes or clothing, please call our office for help.

Ribbon Cutting

In February, 2008 the Hopkins County Fiscal Court accepted a proposal from Pennryile Allied Community Services to join the Hopkins County Assistance Center with PACS.   Below are pictures from the Ribbon Cutting of the new PACS/Hopkins County Assistance Center.

Back to School Program
 
We need your help in one of the programs that we are going to offer starting in July 2008. Starting on July 21st, we will be starting the back to school program for the low-income kids of Hopkins County and this is were we need your help and all the people that you know. Each child will receive 5 BRAND NEW pairs of underwear and socks, at least 2 NEW outfits and 3 gently used outfits. You and your friends, co workers, churches can help by purchasing items or you can make a monetary donation and we will do the shopping for you. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
 

Old Cell Phones Needed

We are collecting ANY old cell phones that you are not using please bring them to  130 Branch Street, Madisonville, KY 42431 or call 821-8114 for more information on the fund raiser to help fund the Back to School Program.
